The push-up portion of the Burpee, Plank w/optional Push-Up may not be a big part of the exercise, but to get the most out of it, you’re going to want to keep good form. Did we tell you that if you have good form, an exercise is actually less of an energy drain per repetition? Maybe you won’t believe us, but it’s true. If you can keep you body straight as an arrow through the push-up, you actually expend less energy from the pectoral muscles and the triceps (they’re being helped by your core and your leg muscles). So straighten out that body and don’t sway them hips. (Ain’t no room for lying hips here!) Now, get ready to hit the gym (even if it’s your basement, it’s still a gym today!) and crush through a quick 3-setter? Remember to record that you read this reminder, and then head on over to the Dashboard.
